My Question
When I read your writing the character seems to know what he likes and what he dislikes. You also made him really observant. I would have not guessed that the character is someone with special needs. How come you chose not to say that Christopher knows he is different?
#3 What would you ask?
Now that you have posted a letter to Chris and comments about Mr. Boone, create a question about the novel, about the author, or about autism, and post it. Then, answer your classmates' posts.
#2 Poor Mr. Boone
Some might say that Christopher's father made a mistake. What was it (there might be more than one)? What do you think he should do now?
#1 Chris's Discovery
Write a letter to Christopher in response to his discovery about his mother. Be sure to address it to Christopher, keeping in mind the details we know about him, and about Asperger's Syndrome.
